Righting It

My name is Scarlett and I live and write in Japan. I submit work to various blogs, but am too prolific for my own good, and too vain to believe that some of it isn't good enough to be published.

To that end, this blog has been created so that everything I write, be it wonderful or merely hopeful, is out there, for anyone to see, read or critique. The biggest part of becoming a writer is, I think, opening yourself up to criticism, and that is what I hope to do.

I hope you enjoy what I write. Some of the content is whimsical, some is referential, some breaches copy-right in myriad ways, some aims to be poignant but probably reads as self-indulgent. I write for fun, for pleasure, for release; but ultimately, I write to be read. So do it. Tell your friends. Thanks for stopping by.
